PHYSICS BY PROF. PREETAM PATIL

Masters Degree (M.Sc ) in Electronics

What is Physics

What is Physics

The branch of science concerned with the nature and properties of matter and energy. The subject matter of physics includes mechanics, heat, light and other radiation, sound, electricity, magnetism, and the structure of atoms.

Solid angle and Plane angle

A plane angle, θ, made up of the lines from two points meeting at a vertex, is defined by the arc length of a circle subtended by the lines and by the radius of that circle

A solid angle, ω, made up of all the lines from a closed curve meeting at a vertex, is defined by the surface area of a sphere subtended by the lines and by the radius of that sphere

Chemistry by Prof.Upen Sawla

M.Sc in Chemistry

Chemistry is the branch of science that deals with the properties, composition, and structure of elements and compounds, how they can change, and the energy that is released or absorbed when they change.

Solid State

What is Solid State

Solid-state is nothing but one of the states of matter. In our early days of schooling, we have learnt that matter exists in three states – solid, liquid and gas. However, as we progress from lower to higher classes the concepts get more advanced and there are more things to learn. In this lesson, we will be dealing with the concept of solid-state in a broader aspect and understand all the underlying terms including the properties as well as the types of solids.

Maths by Prof.Rohit Patil

Mechanical Engineer

Mathematics, the science of structure, order, and relation that has evolved from elemental practices of counting, measuring, and describing the shapes of objects. It deals with logical reasoning and quantitative calculation, and its development has involved an increasing degree of idealisation and abstraction of its subject matter. Since the 17th century, mathematics has been an indispensable adjunct to the physical sciences and technology, and in more recent times it has assumed a similar role in the quantitative aspects of the life sciences.

Determinants

What is determinant

Determinants and matrices, in linear algebra, are used to solve linear equations by applying Cramer’s rule to a set of non-homogeneous equations which are in linear form. Determinants are calculated for square matrices only. If the determinant of a matrix is zero, it is called a singular determinant and if it is one, then it is known as unimodular.
